Laser Wizard is an Australian family-owned laser cutting business based in St Marys, Western Sydney and servicing clients throughout Australia. Ron Thomson started Laser Wizard in 1999 with a single laser cutting machine. Over the years, all profits were reinvested into high quality laser and CNC waterjet cutting machines that could cut fast and accurately. Today, the highly successful company has 30 employees and has expanded into a full service cutting and fabrication business with a 3,500 square metre manufacturing facility.
The success of Laser Wizard came from Ron's original motto of 'precision cutting on time'. This motto drove the business, leading to exacting quality processes that achieved ISO 9001 certification and, more importantly, satisfied clients who continue to use and refer others to Laser Wizard.
Ron's sons, Lawrence and Muir, joined the Laser Wizard team and their combined skills mean that they now provide more than just laser cutting. Clients often prefer to use one company to cut and supply all their profiles, regardless of material, finish, size or quantity. For that reason, as well as remaining the laser cutter of choice for many Sydney clients, Laser Wizard also performs precision CNC waterjet cutting, folding, welding, fabrication, assembly, clinch nut fastening, riveting, finishing and surface coating.
The list of materials that we can cut is extensive and includes mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, plastic, wood, vinyl, rubber, brass, copper, powder coated materials, granite, glass and acrylic, as well as laminated materials.
