Electromech are a professional electronic design and manufacturing house based in Ramsgate Kent. Established in 1986, the company had close links to the power generation industry spending its early years honing skills in electromechanical assembly and panel wiring. It was soon to forge links with an amusement machine manufacturer and took on complete machine builds including PCB assembly and wiring harnesses. Broadening its horizons further the company took on new projects in the leisure industry producing battery chargers and motor controllers for the biggest names in the electric Golf industry. In the early nineties Electromech acquired one of its rivals and increased its capacity with the addition of new SMT equipment, reflow ovens and lead free wave solder machinery. Over the last ten years we have continued invest in equipment and continued to branch out into a variety of industries including automotive, retail, utility and medical. Our size and our “British made” credentials mean we are flexible, cost effective and able to build a real partnership with our clients, this has made us one of Kent’s leading electronic manufacturers for the last 25 years. It is for this reason that we can boast a client portfolio that includes some of Britain’s most well-known and respected brands.
